Aryamā (अर्यमा) - The demigod in charge of Pitṛloka, the planet where qualified departed ancestors reside.
His name signifies "Life-Partner", "close friend", "Partner", "play-fellow" or "companion. In the Rigveda, Aryaman is described as the protector of mares, and the Milky Way (aryamṇáḥ pánthāḥ) is said to be his path. Marriage oaths are administered with an invocation to Aryaman being the witness to the event.
Aryama is Sun's unfailing nature of following dharma constantly and of keeping contracts and oaths (in which capacity he is invoked at Hindu weddings). Aryaman, like Pusha, promotes prosperity and concord in marriages. Agni is addressed as Aryaman who makes 'wife and lord one-minded: Together with Varuna and Mitra, this harmonious order in marriage and family is the reflection of Aryaman's role as guardian of the cosmic order.
The name Aryama itself contains the notion of order and harmony. He, along with Mitra, is associated with friendship. In the case of Aryama, perhaps this association recognises the true friendship that may be offered by one who is trustworthy and dependable. Aryaman is god of harmony and reconciliation and of the unbroken path. Associated with pathways like other demigods Bhaga and Pushan, he is called 'The Companion on the Path, or the harmoniser'.
Aryaman is very auspicious. He bestows riches, affluence and material prosperity. The people whom he protects are victorious over their adversaries». Aryama is also described as the chief of Pitraloka where the souls of our ancestors rest before taking rebirth.
If the intentions are not Right i.e. based on Satya and Dharma, the growth will not be legitimate - growth, if any, will lead us away from the Light and towards darkness. Acturally it represent Action, Karma based on Truth. This is the Action Zone.
If there is problem in happy family life or in partnership, this zone may need to be worked upon.
