Don’t Move House During Pregnancy

Q. I work for a software company. Though I am looking for a better job, I am not able to get one despite my high qualifications? Can vaastu help?

A. Clean the north and northeastern area of your house. Place a fountain or aquarium in the north of your drawing or living area. Go for morning walks. If you are qualified, you will certainly get better opportunities.

Q. We bought a house in which the main door faces west. The southwest has a garage and a door leading into the house towards the south side of the house. The southwest is at a lower level. The northeast has a large door leading to the backyard. Which is the best place for a home office? We deal with perfumes and body care products.

We have stocks stored in the basement that are not moving at all and even if we get an order, the order gets cancelled.

Please advise.

A. The house does not seem like it has any vaastu considerations in place, but you could try doing business in the southwestern or northern area and face east or north while working. Store the goods in the northwestern area of the basement — this might help moving your products.

Q. There is a lot of confusion in buying apartments in multistoried buildings.

What is more important: The direction of the main gate of the plot; the entry gate of the building; or the main gate of the apartment? It becomes difficult to get a good direction for all three.

A. Main entrance is important for plots and buildings. Also, each apartment and floor plan must be laid out as per Vaastu. All these need to be correct for the building to function as a suitable Vaastu structure.

Q. My wife is into her seventh month of pregnancy. We are planning to move to a ground floor flat with the entrance on the southeast corner, bedroom on the northeast corner and kitchen in the southwest corner. Is that okay?

A. During pregnancy, it is not recommended to shift residence.

The flat in which you want to move is also not compatible as per vaastu. So I will not suggest shifting to a new flat.
