Q. I want to renovate my entire house. As of now, the main entrance is on the east side and the kitchen is on the north. My washroom is besides the main door. What can I do about the new layout of the house so that it follows vaastu guidelines?

A. Since you want to renovate the entire house, it is extremely important to shift your kitchen from the north to the southeast. Make your master bedroom on the southwest. You may construct the toilet/ washroom on the northwest. Keep the puja room/ corner on the northeast.
The children’s room can be in the west or the east. The guest room should be on the northwest side. Good luck.
