Q. I am a student of Std XII studying for his Board exams. My problem is that I don't feel very interested in studies. My bedroom was in the northwest but now I have moved it to the northeast – without any positive changes. I am not able to study because of lack of concentration even when I face the Vaastu - friendly north or east direction. Please tell me what I can do to study seriously without any distracting thoughts.

A. You can put eight small plants in the northeastern area of your house. Put an education tower in the northeastern corner of your study table. Use a tablecloth of sky blue colour on the study table. Put the lamp you use for your studies in the northeastern side. You will do better. 

Q. What is the best direction children should face when they are studying?

A. They can face east or north while studying. 

Q. My wife has been ill for quite some time and suffers from various ailments. I am also a heart patient. Can our situation improve?

A. There is a toilet in the southeastern corner of your house. Shift it to the northwestern area. Put some green plants in the southeastern area. Also put crystal pencils in a glass bowl in the southeastern corner of your bedroom. 

Q. I have shifted to a new house and after the move I feel my business has been suffering losses. What can I do to make things better?

A. There is a basement in southwestern portion of your house. Fill this area with heavy goods. Use a fountain or aquarium in the northern or northeastern area of your drawing room. 

Q. We have a lot of problems with our neighbours. They have filed a court case against us. We made a joint buy with them four years ago when they were very good friends of ours. Is there any Vaastu problem in this house?

A. The northwestern corner of your campus is covered by a Genset shade. This corner is meant for helpful friends. Open it and make a gap from the northern wall of at least two feet. 

Q. What should I do so that I can marry off my daughter early? Should any changes be made in in her bedroom?

A. As you have written, she is using the southwestern room of your house. Shift her to the northwestern room. Put a rose quartz stone pair on her bedside table. Things should happen as you wish for. Good luck. 

Q. I stay in a DDA Flat. My house is on the ground floor and faces the southeast, with the WC in the northeast - centre. It has its seat in the southwest corner and is facing the southeast. The kitchen is on the southwest, the stove is facing the northeast and the water tap is on the northeast walls. Unfortunately, we are facing huge financial problems in spite of decent earnings. Please guide me suitably.

A. Dear Arunesh, put water and salt solution in a nonmetallic pot inside the toilet. Change it once a week. You can put a fountain in the northeastern area of the flat. Two plants with heavy foliage can be put in the southwestern area to mitigate the negative impact of the southwestern kitchen.
