The pit should be positioned towards the North-east direction. All the four sides of the house need to have open spaces. Hence, remove all kinds of clutter form the four sides of your house. Besides, open spaces will bring in additional light, air and freshness along with ample luck. You must plant or keep pots at all sides or around the house. You could keep lighter plants or pots towards the northern, eastern and north-east corners of your renovated house. In case you have a garden, you could plant heavier trees towards the southern, western or south-western zones.
Windows need to be reconstructed towards the southern, western or south-western directions. You must maintain peace during the entire process of renovation. You must ensure you paint the house in a different colour and keep it cleans throughout. At no point should you notice five corners in your new house. The doors should never open towards the South-western corner. The doors must always open from the inside and should welcome natural light and energy. You must never keep any kind of artifact or contemporary abstract art at the centre or entrance as this might bring in bad luck.
